Green Bushpig Safaris was originally established as an emergency “On Call” wildlife guiding service near Addo, and over the years has evolved into a broad-spectrum safari operator, serving primarily the international market and providing highly-customised tour packages. We cater for a broad spectrum of guests, mainly in the mid-range to semi-luxury market, and focus on remote destinations like Namibia and Botswana, but also incorporate local attractions like the Drakensberg, KZN Battlefields, Kruger and Cape Town. Most of the business is generated by word-of-mouth referrals by past or existing guests, and occasionally by international visibility in a niche market.
Our projects are diverse and challenging, and have included the provision of travel and accommodation logistics for the International Mine Water Conference held in Pretoria in 2009 (hosting 65 international scientists and 10 companions, arriving on 40 flights from 25 countries, and staying in 7 different hotels) and the Round Square pre-conference tours in 2012 (37 top-achieving students from 6 top schools across the globe), as well as university, school and large family groups.
As our market and products grew and diversified, we moved from the Eastern Cape to Johannesburg, and subsequently Pretoria. We have now moved to Cullinan, in order to focus on our core business of creating dreams for our international visitors and turning those dreams into reality, without being distracted by the energies of big-city life.
We look forward to a long and mutually-beneficial relationship with the Cullinan and Rayton communities.
